Who We Are
The Wave BJJ Story
Wave BJJ was founded with a single mission: to bring world-class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to the heart of West London. Based in Chiswick, we've built an academy that serves both the local community and students from across London.
We believe BJJ is for everyone — regardless of age, gender, background or fitness level. Our programs are designed to be accessible to complete beginners while challenging enough to develop skilled practitioners.
Located inside the premium Society Members Club on Chiswick High Road, we benefit from excellent facilities and a vibrant training environment. The club also houses Forge Functional Fitness and a workspace coffee shop, making it a true destination for health and wellbeing in West London.
Whether you're looking to get fit, learn self-defence, compete at the highest levels, or simply find a new passion — Wave BJJ is your home.
Our Community
We've built a diverse, inclusive community of students ranging from white belts to black belts, ages 5 to 60+. The mat is a leveller.
Our Standards
We hold ourselves to high technical and coaching standards. Every class is carefully planned to maximise student development.

No egos. No politics. Just great BJJ in a supportive environment. We want every student to feel welcome, safe and challenged.

Our Facility
The Training Space
Wave BJJ trains inside Society Members Club, a purpose built facility in Chiswick, West London. Our academy has a large mat area fitted with Fuji Tatami Mats, fully air conditioned, with changing rooms, showers, a functional fitness gym and a workspace coffee shop — all under one roof, steps from Stamford Brook Station.
